Rethink Brand & Culture

September 25th & 26th, 2023
The Halloran Centre for Performing Arts & Education
Memphis, Tenn.

The only way to build a truly great organization is to improve your brand and culture. Whether you run a district or a business, your reputation among your community and employees is more important than ever.

How do you make your school district stand out? That’s the complex question we’re going to tackle at the SchoolCEO Conference. As a school leader, you’re likely juggling many roles—one part educator, one part communicator, one part recruiter…and now you’re a marketer.

There are plenty of conferences that will give you hands-on training to market your schools. But you can also find these resources online. That’s why we’re offering an unconventional conference experience.

Join us this fall for the SchoolCEO Conference. We’re gathering a select group of educators to discuss how to think differently about culture, branding, and recruitment. And you’re one of them. We’d love to have your voice in the room.

“Hands down the best conference
I’ve ever been to.”

Dr. Amy Britt Superintendent, Bakersfield R-IV

SchoolCEO Conference is a great opportunity for school and school district leaders to think differently about their culture and brand, listening to speakers and being surrounded by others that will push and challenge your thinking.
Matt Warnock, Director of Recruiting & Retention, Terrell ISD

Family Engagement & Retention

Families are at the heart of what makes your district special. But how do you engage them to take part in the great things that are happening in your schools? That’s a question we’ll dive into at SchoolCEO Conference.

I learned a lot of great things. It really kind of opened my eyes. I’m a conference person. I like to go and be able to have some time away, sit, process things, and think. So many times we get bogged down in the day-to-day, eight to five, just checking things off our to-do list. The conference gave me the opportunity to rethink the way we’re engaging families.
Kendal Gann, Director of Family Retention and Recruitment at Tulsa Public Schools

“We attend lots of conferences, we have never felt more welcome.”

Jamie Skjeveland, Superintendent, Crosby-Ironton School District, Montana

Why this conference is different from others you’ve attended

  1. We limit seating and attendance to 250 school leaders on purpose. This gives you the opportunity to directly engage with the speakers and make deeper connections with fellow attendees.
  2. We only have keynote speakers and plenary sessions. No awkward breakout sessions, and absolutely no vendors.
  3. Get ready for some mouthwatering Memphis barbecue! We’ll provide breakfast, lunch, dinner—and of course—drinks. No stale hotel food. Unlimited coffee, snacks, and drinks.
  4. Trust us, you’ll want to stick around for the after-party. You’ll make unforgettable memories in the heart of historic Beale Street. This is a private party. No crowds, and yes—there will be karaoke.
  5. This is not a product or user conference. You’ll get a full experience even if you’re unfamiliar with SchoolCEO or Apptegy. And, if you are an Apptegy client, you’ll find a few pre-conference sessions that can help you in your role.

Why Memphis?

Considered the birthplace of blues, soul, and rock 'n' roll, Memphis boasts a number of great places to visit such as Elvis’ Graceland estate and the Memphis Music Hall of Fame. But the more than 10 million annual visitors can tell you, there’s even more to Memphis than music.

In particular, past conference guests have enjoyed touring the National Civil Rights Museum, walking the largest pedestrian bridge across the Mississippi, and eating incredible food around Memphis from Beale St. and beyond.
